Sabudana vada is easy, quick and yummy dish whih is mostly prepared during fasting days.

Ingredients for Sabudana vada (for 3-4 person) -
- 1 bowl Sabudana (soaked over night)
- 3 medium sized boiled potatoes
- 3-4 spoon roasted peanut powder
- Salt
- Red chilli powder
- 1.5 jeera (cumin seeds)
- 1 spoon lemon juice
- 1 inch Ginger grated or 1.5 tbsp Ginger paste.
- 2 fine chopped green chillies
- Fine chopped green coriander leaves
- Peanut oil (for deep fry or shallow fry)
Process to make Sabudana vada -
Step 1 - Take boiled potatoes in a bowl, peel them and mash them properly.
Step 2 - Add over night soaked Sabudana, 3-4 spoon roasted peanut powder, 1.5 jeera (cumin seeds), 1 spoon lemon juice, 1 inch Ginger grated or 1.5 tbsp Ginger paste, 2 fine chopped green chillies, fine chopped green coriander leaves, Salt as per taste, Red chilli powder as per taste and mix well.
Step 3 - If you want vada to deep fry pour oil in pan and heat. For shallow frying, heat the pan.
Step 4 - Wet your hands and make medium sized balls of this mixture. Gently press them and make spherical shape.
Step 5 - Put each vada one-by-one into hot oil for deep fry or keep on hot pan and add oil for shallow fry. Cook till golden brown from both sides in both the cases.
Step 6 - Take out Sabudana vada after it is properly cooked.
